Out with the Old in with the New
I was called to repair the service wire (the main wire feeding the panel), due to the wire being frayed and dry rotted. When I opened the panel, I found too much rust and corrosion to do the job right without installing a new panel. So out with the old and in with the new.
If your service wires look dried out and frayed, get them changed before you need a whole new panel.

Another one bites the dust
We took the tired old equipment out, and put in one nice consolidated box. The wires up top by the weatherhead were bare from age and sun deterioration.
And again an old service entrance wire allowing water into the home.
